Nancy Reid

I have been sewing all of my adult life, but only took up quilting 10 years ago. I started a monthly quilting group that meets in my home. We teach each other and have fun learning new things. Somewhere along the way, my friends encouraged me to take my quilting classes “public”. So, I began teaching quilting classes two years ago. I have fun passing on what I have learned to my students. I usually learn as much from them as they do from me. My favorite part of the quilting process is the planning…coordinating the colors and patterns as I shop and look for just the right stuff for my next project is exciting! When I am not quilting, I work as a CPA in my own business. I have a knack for numbers and math that serves me well, in both my professional career as a CPA and as a quilter and teacher.
